A Will is a legal document identifying:  1) the beneficiaries who will receive assets,        2) the Executor who will manage your estate, pay expenses, and distribute assets according to your wishes, and 3) the guardian for your minor children.  There are standardized do-it-yourself forms available on the Internet or elsewhere.  However, you should be wary of using those forms because they will not be customized to your needs and might not ultimately provide the protection you need.  It's always best to consult an attorney for assistance with the preparation of your Will.  In fact, it's critical because you might need more protection than a Will can even provide you.  The notion that only wealthy people need estate planning is a myth; many people need it.  For further information please visit our Estate Planning page.

That being said, people who have little to no assets and do not want to incur the expense of an attorney, should at least have a minimum level of protection.  The California Statutory Will is a standardized Will that will provide such minimum level of protection.  We have prepared a Statutory Will, along with instructions and other information you need to know, for your use and convenience.

You may purchase the Statutory Will below using a credit/debit card, check, or your Paypal account.  By making the purchase you acknowledge that you have read and understand our Disclaimer provisions.  Once you complete the payment transaction you will be prompted to immediately download the Will and instructions in PDF format, which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view.  You may download Adobe Acrobat here if you do not have already have it.

Thank you!!
